Music
His fingers cross the keyboard of many pianos, as TOM TAÑADA crosses not only the United States, Europe, the orient, and the Scandinavian countries in concert, but on cruises as well, as soloist and bandleader. His communications with his audience and his piano is felt throughout the entire performance. Tom possesses a sparkling smile, a sparkling personality and a special charisma at the piano, enchanting audiences everywhere.
The Early Years
Music has always been foremost with Tom. At
the age of 16, Tom began teaching piano, and after just three years, presented his students in
a public piano recital. For Tom the weight of the ivory keys proved to be heavier than the scale of
justice, so he gave up 4 years of law study in favor of piano. He is a product of the University
of the Philippines, Conservatory of Music. Taught at the University of Tainan during the day and
spent the night playing in the American Installations and Bases. He toured as musical director of
the Filipinescas Dance Troupe.
Tom's passion is to perform in concerts and traveling. He has traveled to hundreds of cities in more than sixty countries from the Arctic Circle ( north pole) to Antarctica (south pole) from east to the west of the globe. He has performed for the King and Queen of Thailand, the former Prime Minister of Malaysia, the former first lady of the Philippines, Ming Ramos, Jack Hanna, and the former President Bill Clinton during his term as President of the USA, and to many more dignitaries and celebrities.
A Seasoned Musician
Tom is married to the former Cindy Ruth Constantine from Massachusetts of Danish and English
heritage. Some of the places he has performed: Las Vegas, New York, Montreal, Alaska, Vienna,
Austria, Cairo, Egypt, Hilton Hotel on the Nile River.

Modern History
After more than 20 years of playing as a resident pianist at
the Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida, his performances are now devoted to helping and
raising money thru fund raising concerts.
Tom has many interest, a member of the American Society of Composers Authors and Publishers, (ASCAP)
arranging and recording music, holding a black belt in karate, fishing, and gardening, both impressive
as a person and a pianist.. truly,
