International Gentleman of Music

Home is where the heart is. Tom's heart is in playing the piano, making it little wonder why he is so much at home that he is able to play almost anything. Be it a difficult classic or a contemporary tune, Tom plays without the aid of sheet music and always with personalized interpretations and arrangements. A member of the American Society of Composers, Arrangers, and Publisher. (ASCAP), he has composed songs and has arranged and recorded a series of cassettes and CDs.

The Early Years
Even before his feet could reach the pedals, Tom began playing the piano under the tutelage of his father, who was also a bandleader and pianist.  At the age of 16, Tom began teaching piano, and after just three years, presented his students in a public piano recital. For Tom, the weight of the ivory keys proved to be heavier than the scale of justice, so he gave up 4 years of law study in favor of piano at the University of the Philippines Conservatory of Music.

When the Filipinescas Dance Troupe toured Asia, Tom took the job as its musical director. From there, he moved to Taiwan to teach piano at the University of Tainan. For 10 years, he spent his evenings playing jazz, top 40 and country music at American military bases. For the next six years, he toured continental Europe and Scandinavia as the leader of two Filipino bands performing everything from disco to European folk music.

A Seasoned Musician
Tom has played in hundreds of cities in more than fifty countries.

Always delivering his best possible performance, music has taken him to different places, exposing him to a variety of people and jobs. After his six year stint in Europe and Scandinavia, Tom was the featured soloist on the luxurious cruise ship, Pearl of Scandinavia. As fate would have it, Tom met his wife, Cindy Ruth Constantine, aboard this love boat. Cindy is from Massachusetts and is of Danish and English origin and runs her own realty business from her home office. Tom calls Cindy the greatest, saying that she is a diligent, loving and devoted mother.

Modern History
Tom and Cindy now call Florida home, where Tom has been entertaining guests from all over the world at the Walt Disney World Resort for more than fifteen years. Starting at the Contemporary Resort and then onto the Polynesian and Grand Floridian Resorts, he currently plays at the prestigious Walt Disney World Dolphin Hotel.
